Sarah E. Banks was born and raised in a small town in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!), majoring in Political Science (2008), thereafter obtaining her Juris Doctorate (2011) from the Charleston School of Law.

Ms. Banks is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and is also barred in all three federal bankruptcy districts of North Carolina. She has a background in real estate law, title curative litigation, default servicing, bankruptcy, and creditor rights. After almost ten years of practicing in these intense environments, she finds herself at home at Graystar Legal, where she currently assists individuals, families, and companies by conducting real estate transactions, a gratifying practice. She focuses on investors in the current market and educates them in making the best decisions for their future real estate endeavors.

Ms. Banks is a member of the North Carolina State Bar and is newly a member of the Forsyth County Bar Association, having been a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association for a decade. In addition to her passion for practicing law, Ms. Banks enjoys spending time with her family, amazing dachshund and cheering on her alma mater. You can find her enjoying the outdoors at the U.S. National White-Water Center or hiking in the mountains of her hometown.
